Few Words From the Founder...

This is Kaliyug, in today’s prosperous and powerful world, the way evils have been surged, men are entangled in wrongdoings, the corruption has become an etiquette, often we see horror atrocities against women and small girls, we have become ruthless. Our mind is full of foolishness, we have become prosperous and powerful, but we are also becoming mentally disordered. In today’s time, there is a great need of a divine power that give us wisdom, knowledge and show us a correct path in our life. In all the religions, people worship God according to their faith, some worship the corporeal (with idols known as Saakar) while some pray formless (knows as Nirakar). In Hindu religion, people worship several gods & goddesses. Mostly worship for wealth, power and prosperity. We found many temples of divine gods and goddess, people worship and take their blessings for the wellbeing in their life.
But there is one goddess (Mata Saraswati) who is the “Goddess of Knowledge” and her temples are very rare on this earth. The honest study of books is itself a worship of Mata Saraswati. In fact, like other gods, there is no dedicated temple of Mata Saraswati which we can claim that it is a true residence of Mata Saraswati. In Vedas and Puranas, the Goddess Saraswati is well recognized as a Goddess of knowledge. In our holy puranas, it is well explained that Goddess Saraswati will on the tongue of everyone’s mouth and she will also flow as river on the earth. The Goddess Saraswati sits on beautiful white lotus, she carries veena and book in her hands. Beloved Mata Saraswati gives us peace of mind. Everyone knows, Mata Saraswati is most powerful goddess, she is goddess of knowledge, wisdom and excellence, she is a goddess of music and love also. But no one wish to pray Mata Saraswati as it will teach us the lesson of truth, justice and honesty. Since Mata Saraswati is goddess of knowledge, she is capable to give correct path in the life. In fact Mata Saraswati is a goddess for every person and mother of all the students. Mata Saraswati gives the peace of mind for better study.
The main weapons of Mata Saraswati are books, pen and lute (veena), Mata Saraswati is omni present and worshiped in many countries as Goddess of knowledge & wisdom. The veneration of Saraswati spread from the Indian subcontinent to China with the expansion of Buddhism, where she in known as Biàncáitiān, meaning "Eloquent Devī", as well as Miàoyīntiān meaning "Devī of Wonderful Sounds". Through China to Japan, where she appears as Benzaiten. Goddess Saraswati is well recognized on this earth and everywhere she carries book and a musical instrument (lute), so she is the goddess (Mata Saraswati) which is needed wholesomely in today kaliyuga time.
Recent Research findings on Saraswati Rivers are well matched with the Vedic era, as mentioned in vedas, divine Goddess Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, wisdom & excellence and on the earth she is in the form of River also. Rigevda says “Ambitame, naditame, devitame Saraswati. So Goddess Saraswati is divine goddess as well as a divine ancient holy river. On this earth, there is no dedicated dham exists for Goddess Saraswati and it is needed in Kaliyug, so Saraswati Dham is proposed on the bank of lost river Saraswati. Since Mata Saraswati is the Goddess of knowledge and music so “Mata Saraswati Dham” would also be a World Education Center (WEC) and it would also consists of an International Institute on Musical Studies (IIMS). My sincere request to everyone, kindly support this divine activity of Mata Saraswati Dham for the welfare of mankind.

Dr. Braj Kishore Rameshwar Dayal Shukla

Dr. Braj Kishore Rameshwar Dayal Shukla (Founder, Mata Saraswati Dham) is a senior scientist and head of Division in Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. He is well known international scientist working on Fusion energy. Dr. Braj shukla is originally from Kannauj district UP, he completed M. Sc. (Physics) from Kanpur University, Kanpur and awarded PhD degree from Gujarat University. Dr. Shukla is member of several national and international committees including ITER-STAC and International EC-workshop. Dr Shukla has visited many countries including US, Russia, Japan, Korea, Germany, Italy etc. Dr. Braj Shukla is also well known social, spiritual and religious person. He is Limca Book of records holder and created Biggest lamp in the word and dedicated to Gujarat, India. Dr. Braj Shukla worships Mata Saraswati from his childhood and he has dedicated Saraswati temple in his house. He is working on Saraswati dham since last 10 years, he has prepared all the concepts for divine Mata Saraswati Dham. As per his vision, Mata Saraswati Dham would be a wonderful example of Indian architect and it would be a national heritage.

Dr. A. R. Chaudhri

Professor A. R. Chaudhri was born on August 18, 1967 at Chandigarh. Presently, he is Director, Centre of Excellence for Research on the Saraswati River in Kurukshetra University. He was the Chairman, Department of Geology, Kurukshetra University from 2013-2016 and 2018-2021.  He has been Principal Investigator of three prestigious research projects sponsored by the Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi, the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India and Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage, New Delhi.  Professor Chaudhri’s  field of specialization is Geology. He has taught Mineralogy, Crystallography, Economic Geology, Physical Geology, Sedimentology,  Stratigraphy, Structural Geology,  Paleoseismology, Remote Sensing & GIS and Active Tectonics.  His work on identification of the vedic Saraswati River System paleochannels remains a pioneering work.  He has been associated with Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi and State Public Service Commissions, in the capacity of paper setter and evaluator of various confidential assignments for over a decade.  Prof. Chaudhri has been a member of selection committees for appointment of Scientists and Professors in research institutes, NIT and Universities.

Professor A. R. Chaudhri is guiding doctoral research work.  He has published over sixty research papers in international and national journals of repute.  He has organised and presided over a number of International and national conferences and seminars. He has been a member of National Advisory Committee on multidisciplinary studies on Saraswati River set up by Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.  Lok Sabha TV, Zee TV, NDTV, News 24, Punjab Kesari TV, Living Media, Haryana News  television channels have hosted his research findings as special exclusive programs during prime time slots. His research findings on Saraswati river have been extensively reported in the Hindustan Times, the Times of India, The Tribune, The Deccan Herald, The Outlook magazine, The Pioneer, Dainik Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar, Punjab Kesari, Hari Bhoomi, Amar Ujala, Aaj Samaaj and other national and vernacular dailies.

Dr Subhadra Desai

Professor Dr Subhadra Desai is professional Hindustani Classical Vocalist and an academic based in Delhi. She has performed all across India and abroad including the US, UK, Germany, Korea and Bangladesh. She is empanelled with ICCR and an A grade musician with AIR. She composes and performs ancient hymns and texts on Sanskrit and Pali. She has presented performances before Honorable Presidents and Prime Minister of India.Presently she is the Chair, Professor of Hindustani Music at the University of Silicon Andhra in California.

Dr. P. S.Thakkar

Dr. P. S. Thakker earned B. Sc. (Botany-Zoology), M. Sc. (Plant Physiology), B. Ed.,M.Ed. and Ph. D. In Remote Sensing inputs for Forest Management, Vijaynagar Range forest, Gujarat, India from Gujarat Uni. Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He retired as Scientist ‘SG’ from Space Applications Centre (SAC) ISRO Ahmedabad, after serving for thirty Seven years. He has in his credit pioneering work in the country in the fields of Archaeology, Urban Development & Planning, Ornithology, Forest Management, (Forest Encroachment, Forest Fire, Forest Diseases, Forest Working Plan), & Crop Diseases using satellite remote sensing data. He has written a book on River Vaidic Saraswati- Gujarati. He has worked in the field of Nature Conservation & Nature Education, and Adult Education- National Literacy Mission. He has also contribution for Ashtapad Research and visited Kailash Man Sarovar thrice, with support from New York Jain Centre. 

Recipient of Shree Hai Om Ashram prerit Puraniji Paritoshik for Social Services in the field of Environment and Adult Education, and Acharya Shree Vijay Vigyan shuri award from RISSIOS. Also recently received Life Time Achievement Award from Karuna Trust Palitana & Atulya Varaso Identity award from Atulya Varaso Historical and Cultural research Center (HARC), Gandhinagar.  Marquis Who is who included his name in who is who in the world, who is who in Asia & Who is Who in science and Engineering for continuous five years. At present he is Hon. Director, Centre for Climate Change & Clean Development Initiatives, C4DI, Ahmedabad.
